At our laboratory, regenerative medicine is at the heart of our research activities. Our core businesses include Cell Culture Business, carried out in collaboration with our affiliated clinic; Stem Cell–Conditioned Media Business, supporting cosmetic and clinical applications; and Cell Banking Business, dedicated to research that helps prepare for future health risks.

Our Core Service
Overview of Our Core Businesses
Cell Culture Business (Including Stem Cells)
We conduct research on somatic stem cells, which are of increasing interest as a source for regenerative medicine. In particular, we focus on human adipose-derived stem cells (hADSCs) and advance fundamental research to improve their safety and efficacy. We also perform cell culture and cell processing for potential therapeutic applications.
Through close collaboration with our affiliated clinic, we quickly feed back research findings into clinical practice and continuously update the scientific evidence that supports optimal cell therapy plans tailored to each patient.
Stem Cell–Conditioned Media Business
At our laboratory, we conduct research and production using human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hADMSCs). The conditioned medium obtained during cell culture contains a variety of bioactive components that support tissue repair and have anti-inflammatory effects.
We advance our research by developing advanced purification technologies and implementing rigorous quality control standards, enabling the safe use of this conditioned medium as an adjunct therapy in clinical practice and as an ingredient in high-performance cosmetic products.
Cell Banking Business
This is an advanced research program designed to address future health risks. In compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, we differentiate human somatic cells into various cell types and cryopreserve them for long-term storage.
We also conduct research on advanced cell types, including induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.
We have established a system for the long-term storage and management of high-quality, safety-tested cells under controlled conditions. This is an important initiative that prepares for the future by preserving individuals’ own cells for potential use in regenerative therapies.

Advanced Facility Supporting the Highest Standards of Safety
In regenerative medicine involving cell handling, safety is an area where no compromise is acceptable. Based on regulatory approval, we maintain advanced cleanroom facilities to ensure strict control of environmental conditions.
CPC (Cell Processing Center): Supporting the Foundation of Safety
Our Cell Processing Center (CPC) is the core facility underpinning the safety of our operations. Under strict aseptic conditions and authorization from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, all cell processing is performed in a highly controlled environment that ensures rigorous quality and safety standards.

Our Director
Dr. Sohsuke Meshitsuka
Director, Institute of Life Science
After graduating from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Dr. Meshitsuka obtained his PhD from the Department of Molecular Therapeutics at the Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo. He is widely recognized for his research in stem cell and iPS cell biology and is also known for his work as a supervising physician in the field of hematology.
He currently serves as Chairman of Medical Corporation Keijinkai and as a Director of our laboratory. In these roles, he is dedicated to advancing regenerative medicine research and promoting its safe and responsible application in clinical practice.
